The spring conservation hunt is designed to manage snow goose populations, which have grown to levels that threaten their Arctic habitats. Liberal limits, high success rates, and warm spring weather make it one of the most exciting waterfowl hunts in North America.
Daily limits during spring snow goose season match the fall: 20 snow geese per day. Saskatchewan still requires plugs in shotguns and non-toxic shot, just like fall. Hunts are limited — book early.

What's the daily limit on snow geese in spring?
20 snow geese per day per hunter — same as the fall season.
Do I need a plug in my shotgun?
Yes. Just like in the fall, hunters must have a plug in their shotgun for spring snow goose hunts.
What shells should I use for snow geese?
Non-toxic shot is mandatory. We suggest 3.5-inch shells in #2 or BB shot size.
Why field hunting versus water?
We use field-based setups exclusively. This preserves roosting areas, keeps birds calm, and results in tighter formations over decoys and higher success rates.
What's the difference between the $350 and $450 day rates?
$350/day is guided hunt only — you arrange your own food, lodging, license, and clean your own birds. $450/day adds the hotel and bird cleaning. Most hunters choose $450.
