Sask Bird Hunting Regulation Changes

The important waterfowl hunting changes for the 2014 fall hunting season that affect us as an outfitter and you as a guided hunter are listed below:

 

Snow goose hunting is now allowed all day-province wide.  In the past hunting snow geese after noon was only permitted on the eastern side of Saskatchewan.

 

No possesion limit on snow geese, the daily limit remains at 20 snows per day per hunter however may change to a daily limit of 50 in the near future.

 

White-fronted goose (Speck, or Speckle-Belly) daily bag limit is now 5 per day per hunter.  In the past the daily limit on Specks was 4
